Hello and Welcome to Phoenix Rising Boston Terriers !

 
My name is Marlene Weiss, and I live in Austria & USA.
Please allow me to give you just some brief infos about me and my Dogs.
 
My Kennel "Phoenix Rising" was founded during the summer of 2009 shortly after I added my first Show Prospect Boston Terrier "Peanuts" to my family.
I must Thank Gabriela Tryzubska of "od Kopce Zebina" kennel again to allow me to own such an incredible girl. I feel truly blessed to have her. Peanuts has hit the Show Ring with a big Bang - please check her link under "My Bostons"
 
The name "Phoenix Rising" has a very special meaning to me as I love the idea of the everlasting rising of the Phoenix which has some sort become my Mantra and outlook on Life.
 
Well, Maggie was my first Boston Terrier (pls see the "Memoriam Page") She was the reason I absolutely and totally fell in Love with this for me absolutely PERFECT breed, She never hit the Show ring..... but...she has and will ALWAYS remain my special No. # 1 Dog
 
Ben - "Mr. Benkovic" was bred by Melissa Hagerstrand and since he hit the Show-Ring in Europe he has been unstoppable ! Thank you Melissa Hagerstrand of "Devil Mountains" and Melanie Enstad Anaya of "Cool Bostons" for this absolutely stunning Boy and making this happen for me.

Ben and Peanuts are the Foundation Bostons in my Home and Kennel and I have high hopes for them and their offspring.
Regarding my Kennel.....my Bostons are all spoiled rotten and loved very much. I strive to breed sound, healthy, good tempered and beautifull in-standard dogs according to FCI/AKC/BTCA standard - generally speaking ...the full Package !
 
All my dogs are (or will be) tested for luxating patella, hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, hemivertebrae, genetic eye defects, juvenile cataract, and heart problems
